FHCP Hosts Community Open House for Area Chamber Members

Florida Health Care Plans (FHCP) takes immense pride in being an integral part of the Brevard County community, a relationship built on trust, care, and a shared commitment to enhancing the health and well-being of residents. With a history of providing pioneering healthcare plans and quality healthcare services, FHCP continually strives to expand our presence and capabilities to meet the evolving needs of the community.

In partnership with the Greater Palm Bay Chamber of Commerce, Melbourne Regional Chamber, and French American Business Council of Orlando (FABCO), we had the privilege of showcasing our FHCP Care Center in Palm Bay to the community on Friday, August 2, 2024.

During this special event, attendees were invited to tour the facility, which offers Primary and Specialty Care, diagnostic imaging services, a Lab, and a convenient onsite Pharmacy for members.

Dr. Joseph Smith, FHCP Chief Medical Officer, executive staff, and clinical personnel hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony for guests who could not see the facility first-hand when it opened in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. FHCP proceeded with opening the facility at that time, believing it was critical to provide essential healthcare services for the community. Dedicated staff administered vaccines to members and non-members, playing a crucial role in the fight against COVID-19.

“We are very proud to be a part of this community and are committed to providing vital healthcare services,” said Dr. Smith. “We are also proud to support many worthwhile charitable causes and important civic initiatives with our Chamber partners. We are certainly excited about the future and look forward to continued growth in Brevard County.”
