Celebrating 50 years of Florida Health Care Plans

Florida Health Care Plans (FHCP) is proud to be celebrating our 50th anniversary of providing quality health care to the members of Volusia, Flagler, Seminole, Brevard, and St. Johns Counties. Since our inception in 1974, FHCP has been committed to providing high-quality, accessible, and affordable health care to its members.

To succeed in a changing and competitive market over successive decades requires dedication, hard work, and a deep understanding of members’ needs. For 50 years, FHCP has continued to innovate and adapt to a constantly changing healthcare landscape. We have expanded our services to include primary care, specialty care, same day care, and wellness programs. FHCP has also invested in technology such as Epic, the industry leading electronic health record, to promote more personalized and efficient care to improve the patient experience.

With a network of more than 9,000 healthcare providers, including physicians, specialists, and hospitals, FHCP is committed to providing its members with the best possible care. Providing quality healthcare services to its members has been the driving force behind FHCP’s success, including the creation of our over 150 strong physician group practice.
