Each year, leaders from across the GuideWell family of companies gather in Jacksonville, Fla., to discuss the Future of Health strategy and how each enterprise operating company, including Florida Health Care Plans (FHCP), will activate it.
During the meeting, leaders and teams are also recognized with Circle of Excellence Awards for living GuideWell’s mission, values, and culture, and achieving outstanding business outcomes.
FHCP’s Epic Implementation Team, under the leadership of Chief Information Officer Tim Moylan, earned the 2024 Circle of Excellence Award for their outstanding deployment of the Epic Electronic Medical Record system across various practices. This implementation allows FHCP members to utilize Epic’s MyChart for secure, centralized access to their health information. Members can effortlessly schedule appointments, complete pre-arrival check-in tasks, and more, all from the convenience of their phone or computer.
“We are honored to receive this award on behalf of the broader team and grateful for the collaborative approach between FHCP and GuideWell IT for this implementation,” said Moylan. “This milestone represents a major step forward in our commitment to providing exceptional healthcare services.
“Many have worked tirelessly to deliver this platform that will bring numerous benefits to the organization and, most importantly, our members. We want to express our gratitude to everyone involved in this undertaking, especially for their commitment, patience, and enthusiasm that has been instrumental in helping us achieve this milestone in our 50-year history.”
