Spotlight on Community Leadership: Jose Goire Joins the Children and Families Advisory Board

Florida Health Care Plans (FHCP) is pleased to announce that Jose Goire, director of facilities operations, has been named to the Children and Families Advisory Board (CFAB) for Volusia County. Goire has been a steadfast advocate for the well-being of families in Volusia County and has a deep passion for community service. He also serves as an Executive Board Member and Director of Government Affairs for the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Central Florida, and is a member of the Rotary Club of DeBary-Deltona-Orange City.

As the board liaison for CFAB, Goire will help shape the direction of various initiatives aimed at supporting children and families in the region. Goire, whose volunteer term will last two years, recently participated in a CFAB new member orientation

“Being appointed to CFAB is not just an honor; it’s a responsibility I take to heart,” Goire shared. “I aim to ensure that every child and family in our community has access to the resources and support they need to thrive. We all can play a role in making Volusia County a better place for everyone.”
